BIOGRAPHIES

        YILDIZ HUSSEIN

Yildiz received a BA Honours degree in Drama and English from Worcester University and it was there that she developed a passion for singing.!

From singing in the college band to performing in the West End she realised that nothing came close to being on stage in a live show and whilst she began her career singing in pop and rock musicals , as the years have passed she has developed a love for all music from the 1920s to the present day.

Yildiz is excited to be In Manhattan and putting her harmony skills to the test

 

 

    LAURA SHEPPARD

Laura trained as a classical singer before attending drama school and her theatrical career has included several musical productions.  

Amongst these are the original cast of Bill Kenwright's WHISTLE DOWN THE WIND, national tours of GIRLS' NIGHT and GIRLS BEHIND, the Broadway musical I DO, I DO, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, THE SISTER WENDY MUSICAL aJACKIE: THE MUSICAL.

Laura has also toured in a one-woman show of SONGS FROM BROADWAY MUSICALS.

 

        HARVEY JAMES

Harvey has worked all over the world in various musical productions and also with numerous bands and performers.

Productions include JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, HAIR, STARLIGHT EXPRESS and ME AND MY GIRL.  He was the lead singer on the Queen Mary 2 and also male lead vocalist at the Eldorado Casino, Nevada.

Harvey has performed with the Joe Loss Orchestra, Suzi Quatro and Carly Simon amongst others.

         DAVID GRAHAM

Better known as a theatre producer of shows such as Victoria Wood's DINNERLADIES, BBC TV's BIRDS OF A FEATHER and ITV's HEARTBEAT David has been a lifelong aficionado of close harmony and is MANHATTAN's vocal arranger and musical director. 

David's theatre work has varied from playing Kenickie in GREASE to BRIDESHEAD REVISITED and CORONATION STREET for Granada TV. 

His musical influences range from Steely Dan to the Beach Boys and  from Oscar Peterson to Aaron Copland.
